Cooking has been my passion for a long time.

My granny (Nonna Lu) used to tell me that it was one of the 3 things a lady should learn to do well in order to have a loving, lasting marriage:

​

• be excellent in the kitchen

• make sure the husband thought that all decisions for the family were his own

• kiss lovely kisses

She said she could teach me how to cook, the rest was up to myself.

We are not married but together for 25 years :-)

I learned how to cook, for the rest I think I've figured it out :-)

The first thing is what I can try and give back to the community, as I've learned also so much from what's out there, be it cooking books, great chefs' shows and the general web, and of course Nonna Lu's teachings.
