Paintings

I only paint in oils, and I make attempts at three techniques and styles:

• The grand masters technique (in layers, starting with a monochrome foundation)

​

• "Alla prima" technique (basically wet on wet - although I usually cheat with a final layer for highlights)

• Both techniques combined in some way to try some abstract paintings.

I love painting landscapes, flowers, still life, and the odd one out that somebody may have asked me to paint for them. I'm totally hopeless at portraits, so I am never going there. Oh and yes, at times I get fascinated by abstract painting.
