Air Fried Venison Sausages

You've no idea how quick this is... and boy, so delicious! I'll do these time and time again, guaranteed!


Ingredients (serves 2):


  • 4 big venison sausages (340-350gr)

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 tsp dry sage

  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp fine salt

  • 20gr butter


Method:


  • Melt the butter in the microwave for a few seconds

  • Mince the garlic, then add the garlic, sage, pepper and salt to the butter and stir

  • Using the point of a sharp knife prick the sausages on both sides

  • Place the sausages in a bowl and massage the butter mixture over them


  • Leave them to rest for 15+ mins (basically the time it takes for my air fried courgettes, but you do you!)

  • Put the sausages in the pre-heated airfrier at 200 degrees C and leave them for 10 mins

  • Turn them over and leave for 5 mins



  • At this point they'd have reached a core temperature of 90 degrees (75 degrees C is the safe threshold)

  • Enjoy!
