Not really recipes here, but tried and tested ideas of nibbles to serve with an aperitif
Creamy cucumber bites:
Peel the cucumber, then cut into not too thin slices
Put some creme fraice on top
Decorate with fresh chives or dill
Roasted almonds:
Put blanched flaked almonds into a non stick pan with a couple of drops of olive oil, a little bit of rock salt, a little it of dried rosemary
Cook on medium heat watching it carefully and stirring to prevent burning
Once ready, leave to cook onto a plate lined with absorbent kitchen paper
Goat crostini:
Slice some honey organic goat cheese
Put a slice on each of your Italian crackers
Avocado & cucumber bites:
Peel the cucumber, then cut into not too thin slices
Topping: smashed ripe avocado flesh in lemon/lime juice, fine salt, pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper.
Decorate with half of a cherry tomato over each
